A few days back Stardoll released a new update to the daily tasks, allowing you to earn all of your Starcoins and Starpoints in just three tasks.

There are a few pros and cons to the update, let’s talk about them.

The good side of the update is it gives you a variety of tasks each day, compared to the repetitive stuff we did before to get Starpoints. You can see the rewards to each and every task before you complete them. You can get more than one set of challenges during the course of the day. I do find that it is easier to level up with the update, for instance I gained over 30 Starpoints in one day and leveled up the same day with the challenges.

On the other side of things, some of the tasks require Stardollars to be spent to earn Starcoins, which doesn't feel totally fair or equal with the currencies on the site. Also some of the tasks do arrive at some inconvenient times -- tasks that requires you to join the vote, shows up after you already submitted a photo to the competition, same can be said for tasks that requires you to vote in ‘The Vote’ shows up after you received all the rewards for it.

But overall? I genuinely like the new update, if you arrive at a task you can’t complete then chances are later in the day the tasks will be reset and you will get a new set of them.
