Dealing With Social Media Drama

119 miesięcy temu

Hey everyone! For this entry I am going to talk about the best ways to handle drama on the internet.

As we get older, the drama that occurs in our life gets more and more intense and serious. You aren't fighting over just a silly doll amongst friends anymore. Arguements can get a little heated and awkward. Trust me, I've been there. If you haven't heard of what a "subtweet" is before, it's basically someone posting a tweet obviously directed at someone but they don't mention the persons name it's directed towards, and it isn't always the nicest comment.

This happened to me recently and I got way to upset about it. Subtweeting is a juvenile act and if something like that happens to you, don't get too worked up. Just call, text, or tell them in person something like "Hey I saw what you said online and i was wondering if you could delete it and we can work this out" or "I didn't really like what you said about me online and i think we should talk about what went wrong and how we can fix our friendship". Anything like this would be good to say.

And even if it isn't necesarily a subtweet, those responses i mentioned prior would still be appropriate. As teens, we already have enough stress about schoolwork, so the last thing we need is something bothering us on the internet.

So, I hope this was helpful and remember, don't sweat the small stuff! And if the internet comments ever get too serious, NEVER be afraid to tell a parent or any adult! Also, if you ever want to talk, or have something on your mind that's bothering you, just message me and I will try to make you feel better!

THANK YOU SO MUCH♥♥
