WGSN is arguably one of the world’s largest trend forecasting agency with satellite offices worldwide, and its Global Fashion Awards, held last night, represented the company’s monstrous size with a sprawling ceremony held at the baroque Gotham Hall. “It’s an establishment that truly stands on its own,” said Lincoln Center’s Fashion Director, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. In agreement was one of the evening’s sponsors, Nadja Swarovski who added that the company “is such an important commercial platform.” Post-dinner, guests watched as awards were granted to some of the fashion community’s most important trailblazers, like cult Swedish label Acne. The duo who accepted the award on behalf of the brand’s creative director, Jonny Johansson, said of the brand’s evolution, “We’ve definitely become more chic and more grown-up, but we’re not losing our base.” Backstage, global style icon award presenter Brad Goreski (clad in an adorable over-sized bowtie) told us that his personal fashion icons range, “from Danny Zucco to Peewee Herman, Tom Ford to Thom Browne.” It’s a good thing that he has a wad of inspiration to pull from, because the stylist-cum-reality-star is on the verge of launching his own book and television series. Though he’s been thrown a handful a negative comments by his old boss, Rachel Zoe, Goreski only has lovely things to say her: “My three years with Rachel were incredible—she’s a great boss and a great teacher.” Anna Sui presented the evening’s final award—given to Biba’s Barbara Hulanicki for her outstanding contribution to fashion. Perhaps one of the coolest industry vets around (she’s 75 and still rocking matte black nail polish), the swinging 60’s designer explained that her fashion days pre-dated trend agencies, “it was very raw, I got my inspiration from the movies. There was no one to copy except Greta Garbo.” In an all-black ensemble (sunglasses to boot) it seems that was exactly what Hulanicki was going for—though not without that undone Biba-girl glamour.
Amber.Stardoll- We just spotted Jessica Alba, her hubby Cash Warren, and their two daugthers: Honor and Haven at the park! Jessica just gave birth to Haven over the summer, so we haven't seen a lot of the newborn but you can see her really clearly here! Isn't she adorable? We also think it's really sweet that Jessica and Honor are wearing matching plaid outfits! We love this little family!

- There's a reason Alexa Chung is a Fashionista with a capital F. Besides having her own great style, she is always on top of the latest trends and is incredibly fashion forward! We spotted Alexa in a pair of burgundy, skinny jeans and a sweet polka dot shirt. She looked great! Burgundy and polka dots are two of the hottest trends this Fall, so leave it to Alexa to combine them together!
How To Get The Look:
-We love polka dots! They remind us of 50's glam and they can make any boring outfit so much more fun! We adore polka dots so much that we found two great tops at Topshop!
- Alexa definitely had her trend radar on when she bought these skinny jeans. Burgundy is one of Fall's hottest colors so be ready to see it everywhere. If you want to look as great as Alexa, you can find a pair of burgundy jeans at Topshop!
- A black oversized blazer is a must! If you don't have one you need to get one right away! You can match it with anything and it never goes out of style! Check out H&M.
- A thin black belt is also a wardrobe staple! We like this one from H&M.
- And who doesn't want to own a classic Chanel bag? It seems like every celeb has one and thankfully there's some great lookalikes at Asos that you can use until you have your big break and can buy a real one! There you go! It doesn't take that much to score one of Fall's trendiest outfits!

- We spotted Twilight star, Ashley Greene, out shopping the other day! Ashley was dressed in a comfy grey tee, distressed denim shorts, and a pair of navy ballerina flats! We really love Ashley's street style, but get ready because we're about to see her on the red carpet with all of the Breaking Dawn premieres! Just one month away!

Hello c; I really love your medoll! Is it based on a particular thing? Well it’s based on my favourite singing Avril Lavigne. But as its Halloween I made her a vampire.

- We saw Jake Gyleenhaal recently and he looked great! Not only that but we saw him with a mystery girl! The two looked pretty cozy and the girl was super pretty with her milkmaid braids and navy blue coat! Could this be Jake's newest piece of arm candy?

- Ok, we know you guys are waiting patiently for the next episode of Glee to air, so we thought we'd give you a present! But if you don't like spoilers than stop reading now!
After rumors that Chord Overstreet aka Trouty Mouth aka Sam Evans would be leaving Glee for good, we found out that he'll actually be back for the eighth episode! YAY! We loved Chord's character and we were really sad when he left the show to pursue his "music career." We guess that didn't work out so well, but that's ok, Sam is back!
If you remember, over the summer there was a lot of controversy because Chord decided to leave the show. He wanted to be promoted to a series regular and when that didn't happen he left the show for greener pastures. Well, now he's back and he has the same deal as before: a recurring character. Oh well, we think he made the right decision. The question is: which Glee club will Sam choose? The New Directions or Shelby's new club? (perezhilton)

- Cold weather, a dry climate, and windy days are our skin's worst nightmare! Even after just a few days of cold weather, our skin turns dry and dull... ugh! We really miss our summer glow, but we don't want to turn to tanning bed to get it back! So here are some great tips on how to keep your skin glowy when it's snowy!
1. Foam and gel cleansers can dry out your skin, so come winter, switch to a cream based cleanser. Also, make sure to use a rich moisturizing day cream that works with your skin tone, apply it right after you wash your face to keep the moisture in.
2. If you suffer from dry skin, stay away from powdered make up, it will just dry out your skin even more and make it look worse. Instead, go for a pigmented day cream or foundation, which will give you a really creamy complexion!
3. Indoor air can be just as drying as outdoor air, so make sure it isn't too dry inside. If the air inside is too dry you can get an air humidifier to help balance it out. And make sure to not over do it with the heater! Also, you can use a facial mist with moisturizing effects, just spray it every few hours, even over your makeup!
4. Always look for alcohol-free products, products that contain alcohol tend to dry them out!
5. Drink at least 8 cups of water a day, which will help your skin to retain it's moisture!
6. And make sure to give your hands and feet extra attention, products with shea butter, mineral oil, or tea tree oil are super moisturizing for your skin!

- As you guys know, orange and yellow are some of the It Colors this Fall. And while we've stocked up on tons of colorful accessories, our closets are lacking something bold! When we came across this marigold colored Victoria Beckham dress for her Spring/Summer 2011 collection we know it would be the perfect piece to add some color to our wardrobes! We spotted both Victoria Beckham (naturally) and Olivia Palermo in this dress, but the question is: who wore it best?
Victoria wore the dress with a slicked back ponytail and two-tone Chanel heels. We loved her minimalistic look!
Olivia wore the dress with gold bangles, leopard print heels (love!), and a hot pink clutch. We love the leopard print with the dress, but we're not crazy about the clutch.
Both ladies looked great and we love the dress so much that it's hard to choose a winner! Vote and let us know who you think should win this fashion battle!
