Refresh & Revitalise With.....

...FRUIT! 

Now that the temperatures are rising, and the sun is shining, what better time to refresh and revitilise with a wonderful blend of fruits? 

Not only are fruits good for your system, but the fruit juices are also fun  to make! And what more convenient way to combine your "5-a-day?" 

So, where to start?

Which Fruits?


Some fruits work better with others, it's not just a case of finding any fruits and throwing them in the blender. Although, any fruits can be used together, but it does depend on your own tastes - you may prefer certain combination of fruits, ie raspberry and strawberry instead of banana and strawberry. 

Take these tropical fruits and couple of herbs to make a mouth-watering juice: watermelon, fennel bulb, mango, parsley, papaya, lime and watercress.

This combination of fruits are rich in omega-3 to nourish, and vitamin A to promote repair.

Another great combination of fruits are banana, blueberries, apples and throw in some cubes of  ice! This blend of fruits is also high in vitamin A.

Texture

For smoothies, add yoghurt to your fruit to give it a thick and creamy consistency. For  an interesting twist to your juices, add ice! 

*Always make sure you get someone to help you in the kitchen!*

Once you know which fruits you like  together, you can even create your own special fuit combinations! My favourite is carrot, orange and apple, what is yours?
