Living the Suite Life: East Asia

50 måneder siden

Living the Suite Life is back!

This series is all about promoting the amazing work that often goes unnoticed, of unsung heroes in this game: suite designers!

As pictured in my Suite (above are items I've collected), I have a fondness for creativity explored through themes, and in this post, we are making a pit stop in Eastern Asian locations with our virtual imaginations.

Asia is home to several of the world's oldest civilizations, that produced the majority of the great religious systems. The term East Asia  geographically includes China, Japan, Korean Republics (North and South) and Vietnam.

If you're interested in Asian history, culture, and art, do consider exploring the options available in the StarPlaza and StarBazaar.

AllDolledUp's recommendations include searching the catalog for...

Tatami flooring
Cherry blossom trees
Bonsai plants
Ponds
Birch and Bamboo items
Textiles
Lamps & Lighting
Stores like Original Future, Royalty, Windows of the World, and Museum Mile

I'm partial to scouring the StarBazaar for Tingeling and Folk items. I hope that one day we will witness the return of the amazing Folk items that featured cultural themes, namely China and Japan!

Do YOU have a themed suite inspired by a particular culture?

A challenge for my readers:

Create a room that pays homage to a culture you admire or your own cultural background. I want to see creative use of interiors and novelty items. I will feature your themed creations in an upcoming post.

This post features the amazing creations of the following Stardoll members:

Aomicchi

"I have rooms with 300 items but also have rooms with 100. I've spent countless hours working on my suites, both in this account and my other doll called AkaiKitsune :) You should take a sec to check out my world if you have the time."

A great use of Royalty store items featuring cherry blossoms, tatami flooring and panels!

The mistress of themes herself, wows us with this great use of a Korean interior.

Please do share your themed suite with us in the comments and get featured in an upcoming Living the Suite Life post!
