How to Survive a Pandemic Vol. 2

57 måneder siden

Hello dearly beloved readers, I come to you today with a post to recitify at least some of the boredom that you might be experiencing due to the current worldwide shutdown. I don't know about you, but I've been banned from leaving my house, and my college got moved to online classes. Here's a list of things you can do at home to prevent yourself from dying of boredom:

1) If you socialize with people on Stardoll more than with people in person, your chances of catching the virus drop dramatically.

2) There is no time like the present to go outside in the fresh air and stay away from other people, but don't stay out too long because you don't want to catch corona, and don't breath in the fresh air because who knows where that's been.

3) Designing a facemask for your doll not only decreases your boredom but it also increases your designing prowess.

4) If you read a paper book (not many people do anymore) know that the coronavirus could stay on that book if it has been exposed to the virus. Money also could spread the virus, so be careful what paper you're touching.

5) Today for a full hour I practiced my barking skills and vocal impressions, and although my barking still sounds like a Chihuahua, my Irish accent has remarkedly improved whenever I say the phrase " I'll be having some of that ale."

6) Try something you've never done before, like rug hooking. I've almost completely rug hooked my dog for a pillow, and I must say I'm very impressed with my skills.

7) Binge watch something you never thought you'd binge watch. I'm 59 episodes into a telenovela I never thought I'd watch (y puedo decir que esta telenovela es tan interesante, se llama Señorita Polvora).

8) Start practicing to break a world record. The record for tallest woman was 7 foot 7 inches, so I'm not sure about you, but I only have 2 feet & 5 more inches to go before I can break that record.

9) Read my blogs :)

10) If you're really bored, I have a friend who began attacking his 16 year old sister with a shark puppet, just for fun, so don't forget that little acts of spontineity might bring about laughs for hours.

To clarify, this is a post meant for humor, just like my previous coronavirus post. My goal is to make you smile during a frustrating and confusing time.
