Winter Blues (And Other Colours)

97 måneder siden

With winter well on its way, it can be hard to be fashionable and practical at the same time. Bulky winter coats hide your nice outfits, and bare skin is a bad idea if you're trying to stay warm. One way I like to stay a little stylish is to focus on colour in my outfits. There are lots of palettes you can use for winter, especially the traditional red and green! For this post, I challenged myself to create a few colourful winter outfits that don't include this classic combo.

My first outfit is ideal for a classy night out, while maintaining that practicality for winter. A long flowy cardigan with an infinity scarf not only look cool, but they keep you warm, too! I went for more subtle colours here: the grey accented by calm blues and purples. My doll's hair definitely helps, too!

Taking a walk outside in the snow? Try using solid colours to really stand out against the white background. Evidently, I emphasized the colour blue in this outfit. It's one of my favourite colours, and I love how you can just throw any shades of blue together and still have it look great. Don't forget your mittens and hat on a cold day!

So you made it home, and now you can curl up by the fire with a blanket and hot chocolate. My last outfit is simple as can be, with beige-toned slippers and sweater complemented by blue leggings. You can probably tell that I am obsessed with leggings; if you find a good pair, they can keep you warm and stylin' all winter!

How do you dress for winter?

Til next time!
