When you watch a video, or when you read a blog post like this one, sometimes you can't help but read the comments. Maybe you write your own. You come across four things: spam, constructive criticism, lovely comments & ones that are plain rude.

The people who write the 'rude' ones may not know that they are being mean. In fact, they could think that they're being helpful, & there's nothing wrong with that (except for the fact that it came across as a little mean).

When leaving a comment, remember that you don't know the person behind the screen. They could be the kind of person who easily takes things to heart, or someone who just doesn't care about much. You never know, a simple comment could ruin their day - depending on who they are.

No, these people are not stupid. But if you are one of these people (people who easily turn sad over a comment), just forget about it. You don't know them, they don't know you. Continue living your online & real life. Tip: emojis prove to be very useful.
