Today, I went into town and I bought some makeup. I bought 2 lip products and a nail polish. When I went home I looked at all my makeup and realised that I owned an excessive amount of lip products for my age! Seven to be exact, maybe even more.

I don't object against using makeup at all, I think it's great if it gives you confidence. But, there are many ads about £30 foundation which they say is only the best, same with other expensive products. I love buying makeup, but I wouldn't want to spend all my pocket money on one product which might not even be worth it.

I've seen people apply makeup so excessively that you can't even recognise what they look like without it. Makeup is meant to enhance your features, not look unnatural.

I'm not even allowed to wear makeup at my school, so I don't have many places where I can wear my seven lip products! ;)

What I'm trying to say is, makeup is a great tool, but you shouldn't feel ashamed going out without it.
