Good Books for School

122 måneder siden

Hi dolls! Beatrix here.

I absolutely love reading, but I know that not everybody does. If you're school is forcing you to read, consider the following books to keep you interested in literature!

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
My Rating: 3.5/5

Set in 1989, this piece of realistic/romance fiction follows the two heart-wrenching stories of potential lovers Eleanor and Park.

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
My Rating: 5/5

This thrilling realistic fiction novel had me in tears by the end of it. Focused on the casette tapes of the deceased Hannah Baker, this story is filled with plot twists.

Glimpse by Carol Lynch Williams
My Rating: 4/5

Told entirely through poems, this is a short read. It explores mature issues and keeps you intrigued on the stomach twisting tale of sisters Hope and Lizzie.

How to Save a Life by Sarah Zarr
My Rating: 5/5

Teen mom to be Mandy Kalowinski is desperate for her child to have a better life in this piece of realistic fiction. There's a major twist ending that will have you in tears - but not nessecarily of sadness.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
My Rating: 3/5

In this fantasy meets romance novel, you follow the story of wolf attack victim Grace who learns that there is more to the wolves that lurk in the woods beyond her home.

Alright dolls, comment some of your favorite books and reccomendations!
