    Who: Anne Hathaway
What: The One Day premiere at AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 Theater in New York on August 8.
Wear: Alexander McQueen resort 2012 dress, Tiffany & Co. jewelry, Christian Louboutin heels

Anne Hathaway’s no stranger to stealing the show on the red carpet—and she did just that at the premiere for her new movie One Day in New York City. Wearing a dazzling Alexander McQueen resort number, the actress stunned in the black strapless dress with a gold-embroidered bodice. While the flattering A-line dress complimented her toned physique (she’s currently shooting The Dark Knight Rises as Catwoman, no wonder), Hathaway completed the look with sparkly pointy-toe Louboutins and gems by Tiffany & Co. One Day, also starring Jim Sturgess, is a rom-com about college friends who hook up on graduation day, and what happens down the road because of it. The movie hits theaters August 19.

Macy’s is on a high fashion roll! In the wake of their Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse collection—which hits stores at the end of this month—they’ve snapped up Anna Dello Russo. The Italian fashion editor’s become famous for wearing head-to-toe runway looks for even the most mundane activities. She favors bright colors, bold accessories and Italian designers, but doesn’t discriminate when it comes to Americans and Brits, too. In the past, Dello Russo’s teamed up with Yoox.com on t-shirts, but she’s never linked up with a particular retailer. Starting this fall, she’ll be the editor-at-large for I.N.C., Macy’s in house brand best known for pulled together office looks.  She’ll be “editing” and “styling” the collection at an editors’ preview next week—but no word yet on how her influence will be felt in stores. For now, there’s the image of Dello Russo at left, wearing I.N.C. alongside Karolina Kurkova (who’s also new to Macy’s). Next thing you know, Macy’s will be on the New York fashion week schedule!

We know that sheer is all the rage this season, and it’s a great transition trend from summer to fall, too. But this is definitely one fad that can be a bit tricky to wear tastefully. In order to master sheer fashion, we’ll show you how to wear sheer and avoid feeling over-exposed. Stay on trend while still maintaining the class factor with these cute options, and check out how our fave celebs wear the look too! Try wearing a tank underneath your sheer top. We like this one by ArynK since it comes with a cute sparkly tank to wear underneath.

    SUBTERRANEAN SULTRY

Summer festival season may or not be over for everyone, but it’s never too early to plan your chicest trekkin’-back-to-civilization ensembles. Moving from the mosh pit to the subway saunas, this week’s Techno Goth collection will kit you out in the best underground fashion this side of downtown. Thick textiles, severe spike heels, Victorian fishnets and lace reminiscent of medieval dungeons, these pieces are punched up with a Tarzan strength that you won’t be able to resist! Influences range from legendary rocker Joan Jett to Tilda Swinton to David Bowie circa his Ziggy Stardust days.

Catch this week’s Techno Goth train to style sin city!

    Who: Hailee Steinfeld
What: The Glee The 3D Concert Movie L.A. premiere held at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, California on August 6.
Wear: Louis Vuitton resprt 2012 shift dress, Louis Vuitton loafer wedges, Roger Vivier clutch

Some of Hollywood’s biggest young names flooded the red carpet at last night’s Teen Choice Awards, but as far as the weekend’s best-dressed goes, our teen of choice has to be Hailee Steinfeld at the L.A. premiere of Glee The 3D Concert Movie. The face of Miu Miu’s fall 2011 campaign hit the red carpet in a red and off-white printed shift dress from Louis Vuitton resort 2012 collection paired with a covetable (we’ll even call them sexy) pair of loafer wedges, also by Louis Vuitton. Head-to-toe red is a tricky look to pull off, but the starlet nails it by accessorizing with a little something unexpected: that face-printed clutch.

Ever since the Jonas Brothers went from burning hot to painfully mellow, youngest brother Nick Jonas has been trying his luck on the theater scene. His latest big break is the role of "Link Larkin" in the popular musical Hairspray, and the show had a very successful premiere at the Hollywood Bowl this past Friday! The show has an all star cast including performers like John Stamos and Corbin Bleu, and Nick has really stepped up his game to match their level. We have never heard him sound this grown-up before and get this, he even took salsa dancing lessons in preparation for the role! We have to ask, do you guys prefer him as a cute Jonas Brother or as the grown-up musical theatre star that he now is? Vote!

Take a pitch of talent, a spoonful of playful fashion, a cup of classiness, a package of beauty, let it bake for about 26 years and voilá! You have yourself a Freida Pinto. Freida is the perfect example of a successful young Hollywood star with her long lasting onset-lover Dev Patel, critically acclaimed performance in an Oscar Winning movie and classy, yet fun sense of fashion. In honor of the summer holidays nearing it's end, we thought we'd show you a selection of some of Freida's prettiest summery dresses!

After a whole summer without new Gossip Girl episodes, watching pictures from the set of the new season is almost as good as watching the real thing! We need our Gossip Girl fix and thanks to the paparazzi, we can get it pretty much whenever we want. Check out these pictures from this past Friday when Blake Lively was shooting some scenes in Los Angels with her "fake cousin" played by Kaylee Defer!

There is just no stopping the Smith kids! At the mere age of 11, Willow Smith has already released two hit singles and served as the opening act for Justin Bieber's sold out "My World" tour, - but it hasn't been enough to satisfy her thirst for success!

She recently signed up to star in the new movie remake of the classical musical Annie! The musical tells the story about an 11-year-old girl who escapes her orphanage to go look for her parents, so obviously Willow is just the right age for the role.

Oscar winning screenwriter Emma Thompson has been hired to rewrite the original Annie script for the big screen, Willow's record producer/mentor Jay-Z is set to do the music and of course her parents Will & Jada Pinkett Smith will be producing!

Glee creator Ryan Murphy was originally meant to write the script, but when his new TV project "American Horror" got picked up he didn't feel life he would have the time to finish the script before it's deadline in November and handed over the project to Emma.

This sounds like a crazy-fun project to us and we're really excited to see what they come up with!

Sunday night’s Teen Choice Awards honored the actresses, actors, musicians, and athletes preferred by, well…you! With some of Hollywood’s biggest young names in attendance (Rebecca Black, no less!), the awards show is just as fun as its fashion, which, not surprisingly, included pa-lenty of short skirts and minidresses (who can blame them, though; summer’s almost over, and now’s the time to flaunt those tanned legs while we still can!). Taylor Swift was the show’s big winner, and we’ll go as far to say she was the red carpet’s big winner, too. Check out our favorite looks from the 2011 Teen Choice Awards below!
