In Bryant Park, just blocks away from the city’s modern art galleries, Oscar de la Renta presented his latest collection for resort, a strong tribute to artist predecessor Pablo Picasso and the designer’s own Spanish roots. The 62 looks de la Renta sent down the runway captured the spirit of an electric, almost provocative Spanish culture alive with fiestas, matador bullfighting, and flamenco—a few models in ruffled dresses could have definitely passed for real dancers sans castanets. The influence of Picasso’s iconic cubist paintings was evident in the graphic angular shapes decoupaging the frocks. The collection includes poolside get ups as well as evening wear (we especially loved Candice Swanepoel in that sensational one-shouldered minty green number. A lesser talent may have given such a collection a campy, flashy feel, but each piece showed de la Renta’s gorgeous handwork in the details—meticulous beading, embroidery, patchwork, and otherwise heavy embellishment—all working beautifully towards the bigger picture: a masterpiece of elegance and unmistakably Oscar.

We think Selena's style is awesome, she always dresses up but in a way that looks completely effortless! So of course we have to pay homage to Selena's amazing style! How To Get The Look:- Selena chose a flirty and feminine top with lacy details and little blue flowers. This top works both casually (which is the look Selena went for) and for fun events (try pairing it with cute skirt or skinny black pants)- To keep the look casual, Selena wore a pair of skinny jeans with distressed details.- The key to this look is to keep it from being too casual, you want it it to be effortless chic, Selena nailed it with a pair of sexy black heels! The heels are basic but really brought the look from simple to stunning.- Selena matched her heels with a black Dolce and Gabbana bag. Hot!- Selena is naturally pretty so she kept her makeup very neutral. Just a hint of pink lip gloss and light brown eyeshadow. - Yesterday went to the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and it was amazing! We saw tons of hot celebs and we totally loved the movie! We won't give anything away but we want you guys to know it's awesome! We might've accidentally screamed out loud at one part, fallen in love, and cheered during the movie. The coolest part was that it was in 3D! Will you guys see Pirates? You definitely should!

- Oscar Nominated Actress, Hailee Steinfeld, might just be the most fashionable 14 year old ever! It's just been announced that Hailee is the new face of Miu Miu! We're super excited for her and think she'll be such a great fit for the brand! Past celeb endorsers of Miu Miu have been: Kirsten Dunst, Katie Holmes, Lindsay Lohan and Maggie Gyllenhaal. We love Hailee and her style- this is a girl that you definitely watch!

- Did you guys watch the Gossip Girl season finale last night? What a turn of events and crazy twisted drama! And oh the fashion! We were once again reminded by how much we love Gossip Girl (ok, we never really forgot!) But we love this show and we're a bit bummed we have to wait until next season!
