Attendees came drenched in diamonds, gowns, sleek suits, and bright smiles on Thursday’s amfAR Inspiration Gala in Paris. The event is held in celebration of menswear that helps fund the Foundation’s AIDS research programs. Sleeping Beauty star Emily Browning arrived with boyfriend Max Irons and opted for a matching black-and-white get-up. Unlike the other guests, the 22-year-old Australian actress did away with draped ball gowns, dazzling jewelry, and a fancy hair-do. Instead, she dressed comfortably in a Louis Vuitton fall 2011 playsuit complete with a gem-cut LV clutch and peep-toe pumps over knee-high tights. The rather somber and gray attire left Browning standing in the shadows of the brighter-dressed, like Diane Kruger in a fiery red YSL gown, and even Fergie who also sported an all-black LV ensemble.
