Here’s some food for thought; the people we pass every day, strangers, have stories and experiences we’ll never know. While you may in passing admire an outfit or wonder what it is these people do with their lives, one does not simply stop to interview or interrogate someone they don’t know. Well - I decided to do just that, so that you don’t have to (Stranger Danger, folks!).  I took the time to interview 3 strangers here on Stardoll to look deeper into what advice and intricacies might be hiding behind their pixels. 

     My first willing victim (interviewee) was a girl I met in a chatroom who agreed to be randomly interviewed. 

thunderclouds - “My name is Nisa, I’m a high school student. I am studying science to be a doctor” Nisa is from Turkey, and has been playing Stardoll for 2 years. When I asked about her favorite part of Stardoll, she said she loved seeing players designing “real-life dolls” and the intricacy of it. She also loves chatting and socializing with such a broad community. 

Nisa’s life advice: “The strength you need is in your noble blood vessels”

DieForDior - “Hey my name is Styl, I'm from greece..I'm part of the lgbtqi community, my hobbies are playing pc games, going outside with friends, listening to music, and etc” Styl’s favorite part of stardoll is dressing up dolls, “I love to mix colors, and I'm kinda perfectionist on this!”

Styl’s life advice: “No one should judge anyone else”

     My third interviewee was someone who sent me a friend request recently that I haven’t had the time to get to know.

Rey. - “Hi, I'm Corey. I'm 21, I’m from London and joined stardoll in 2020. I currently work in marketing and am responsible for launching events, however, it's not something I really enjoy. I would like to eventually get into real estate. I enjoy boxing and do that on the side at my gym.” Corey visits stardoll from time to time to design, socialize, and pass time. “I enjoy designing hairstyles, specializing in black male dolls. I felt there was a gap in the market here for that. Seeing the success of it keeps me going. I also like socializing with my people.” Shout out to maraiya, Pose.., lovexo, phantabulouz and calmsuga (you all must be pretty cool if he name dropped you personally). 

Corey’s life advice: “Eliminate what doesn't help you evolve. Remember whoever tryna bring you down is already below you. Whoever’s talking behind your back is already behind you.”

     So there you have it - 3 strangers - 3 pieces of advice I would implore you to ponder. That’s all for now, stay safe everyone!
