Dear StarBlog readers,

I'm Sérgio and I'm 24 years old and from Portugal. I'm enrolled as a History student at university. I am a botany enthusiast and own around 20 plants. I love gardening! On Stardoll, I love designing suites, but in this account, I mainly focus on experimenting with male fashion. I believe that now that Stardoll is lacking vintage clothing for my other doll, I tend to use this one more now, as it's my real-life style, and more modern.

Tell us about your Stardoll Journey!

I first joined Stardoll in 2007 on my other account, Oipy, and have been a member since 2014 on this one. My username is a Russian varient of Sergei (which I originally wanted but that name was already in use. And you're supposed to read it like Serjay btw) and that name is a Russian version of my name, Sérgio. I think Russian names are so pleasant to pronounce! I discovered Stardoll in 2006, through another game that doesn't exist anymore. I've never stopped playing because I've made friends here and I've learned a lot about fashion and decor. I basically grew up with the game and to me the best part is to be able to meet people all over the world and create Suites inspired by those wonderful places that I really want to visit.

If I could change anything in the game it would be the stores. There seems to be, to me, that each day that passes, more and more clothes are made for a specific public and minorities with other styles are completely being ignored. Not to mention, boys rarely get anything, and from that, few items are actually nice, in my opinion. I'd love if boys got more frequent MR. releases and turn half of the HotBuys into male HotBuys. We too deserve something, no? After all, we too pay to play.

Tell us more about your background and cultural interests!

My hobbies include reading (mostly monarchs' biographies or letters) reading online about history as well as watching docmentaries about certain historical eras I like. (i.e. Ancient Egypt, the Victorian era, and the Medieval era are among my favorites.)

🇵🇹

Fun facts about my country:
-The Portuguese Empire lasted for over 600 years, being at some point, the most powerful on Earth.
-The Portuguese descend from Romans and Celts.
-We hate when tourists speak in Spanish to us because they think we're part of Spain, and we're actually very welcoming and friendly if you don't insult us by saying "hola" and "gracias," which is Spanish.

-Portugal is actually a very safe country to visit.
-Recently the Bom Jesus Monastery (in my city) and the Mafra Convent in Mafra were considered UNESCO heritage sites.

Any advidce for our readers?

I'd love to give advice but I'm terrible at lt. I should probably say, be yourself, be creative and please don't be another Kylie Jenner / Kim Kardashian looking doll. You should explore more of the game and your own skills, and your capacity to be unique and special and make a difference. Don't waste your brilliant talents trying to be part of a beauty guru cult.
