I was recently invited to a Gossip Girl inspired party where I had to dress up as Serena van der Woodsen. While putting together my outfit was fun, tearing apart my closet left a big pile of clothes on my bedroom floor... and then, I had to rush off without cleaning up! When I got back the next day, I had a great idea - combining my Stardoll and real life closets to avoid that problem in the future!

Let's be honest - buying Stardoll clothes is far cheaper than buying clothes in real life! This means that your real life closet is most likely a lot smaller that your Stardoll closet, especially if you have a Superstar membership. Stardoll also boasts such a huge number of items in Starplaza and the Starbazaar that it's easy to create your real closet in your doll's suite!

Finding your items!
If you filter your closet, you may find that you already own similar items to those you own in real life. I created the look above without buying anything new - the hardest part was the hi-lo skirt that I created by using two skirts on my doll! To find items you don't already own on Stardoll, use the currency and color filters - snatch up the closest items to your real life clothes, for the best prices.

Crafting Outfits
Now that you have all your real life clothes in some form on Stardoll, you can group them together in their own room or section, and use your doll to style your real life outfits on - with no mess! This system not only lets you create looks easily at any time, it also lets you keep your living space organised and relaxed. Sounds great to me!
