Nurturing our inner being..
Hello Dolls :)
I hope this post will find you all happy and well.
The world of today is extremely fast pace sometimes we forget to nurture our inner being. It's imperative that we keep ourselves centered and balanced in a world that is at times chaotic and stressful with the daily grind of Studies,Family,Work etc. we have so much to juggle it often leaves our inner being starved which puts us in a state of stress.
Here is one of my Biggest tools for stress relief/ nurturing my inner being:
Meditation - This is a huge plus, it only takes 30 min - 1 hour it can be as short as you like or as long as you need.
1. Cut off the external noises such as T.V, Radio etc.
2. Dim the lights,light a scented candle
3.Sit on the bed or floor legs folded in a comfortable position arms relaxed
4. Close your eyes and Inhale slowly, take in the aroma from the scented candle let your mind relax, think of nothing during this time. Allow yourself to drift into a relaxed mind and body state, exhale - as you exhale open the palms of your hands this is called freeing yourself from the stress and chaos of the day . Sitting still amidst the silence is so humbling and it helps to slow our motors down a bit so that we can take in the moment. Meditating can be exhilarating as well as enlightening. You will often find immediate resolutions to whatever your issues are right after meditating because your mind is at it's clearest state.
