If you visit lots of suites on Stardoll then you probably would have noticed that "abstract suites" (as I'm calling them) are really popular. I'm not going to define them as a trend because it is a brilliant and hopefully lasting idea.

So what is an "abstract suite"?

An abstract suite is a suite that follows no human conventions (such as physics and proportion). It may seem simple but there are ways you can make an "abstract suite" highly complex.

1. Symbolism. Just because your suite is wacky and abstract does not have to make it lack in meaning. For example, If you believed pineapples were holy you could put them in the centre with halos and light.

2. Irony. Much like symbolism, using items in your suite can portray irony. This irony can not be a belief but a link to social, economic, environmental or political issues in the world. My suite is full of this.

3. Fun! With "abstract suites" there is really no limit. If you enjoy making them they can be intricate and awesome - and sometimes, that is meaning enough.
