As much as I like to believe it, I’m not perfect. There are people who don’t like my blog posts. There are teachers who think my work could be better. There are classmates who don’t like my projects. For all the positive feedback I get, there’s always some negativity.

You know what, though? That’s okay!

It’s impossible to be perfect.

It’s impossible to please everybody.

It’s impossible to never be disappointed.

What is possible is trying your best, doing what you love, and never giving up. When you give your all, your feeling of fulfillment and the positivity of others should outweigh the negatives. It’s easy to focus on the bad stuff, for sure, but remind yourself that that’s not what matters. Decide what matters most to you, be it your own happiness, the learning experience, the connections you make with others, anything!

Life is full of rejection, be it from critics, judges, friends, or strangers who feel they can change your mind. Learn from their opinions, but don’t let them dominate you. Stay true to yourself and your dreams. ♥
