As most of you know from February to March awards season takes place. These include; The BAFTAs, Golden Globes, The Grammys, The Brits and The Oscars.

 

This time on Stardoll we were lucky enough to receive two releases inspired by both The Grammys and The Oscars. In this post I am focusing on the differences and trends from these releases.

Differences. As you can see the differences from the items are quite obvious. The pieces from The Grammys collection are more vibrant in colour, have patterned designs and are quite risqué. The Grammys is a place where celebrities aim to shock the public with their clothing choices.

Trends. Thigh high splits were quite common at both events and is always a popular choice on the red carpet. Trains were also a popular choice! I love a good train on a beautiful gown. It makes it look so much more beautiful and the woman wearing it will always look a little more demure.
