There weren’t many couples on the star-studded red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards last night, but the ones that graced the show were almost unbearably cute. With their expensive shoes and their ear-to-ear smiles, their obvious relationship bliss made the pain of staying up late to watch an internet vote-based award show in old sweatpants seem like a treat. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Without a doubt, Miley and Liam were the cutest couple at the PCA’s this year. We won’t lie, even if things don’t work out the second time around for this young couple, we’re glad they joined forces to be a completely adorable sandy-haired, rep carpet drab-fighting duo. Their outfits were also perfectly matched: both were tan, perfectly groomed and beaming.

David Boreanaz and Jaime Bergman The Bones star and his wife, Playboy model Jaime Bergman looked elegant and happy, proving that a married couple can pull it together after a scandal (or at least, look like they have).

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka were all suave smiles on the red carpet. Later that night, Neil took home Favorite TV Comedy Actor for his role as Barney in How I Met Your Mother.

Alyson Hannigan and Alex Densiof Alyson Hannigan was positively glowing at this years PCA’s in a red Alice + Olivia mini. The 37-year-0ld mom-to-be took home the award for Favorite Network TV Comedy along with her fellow How I Met Your Mother castmates. Her husband, Alex Densiof kept a huge smile on his face (and his hand on her prominently displayed baby bump) for the entire evening.

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev This off and on (or, at least, kissing on) screen couple didn’t walk down the red carpet together.  They did return to LAX together though, where Ian pulled Nina’s luggage while the grinning Favorite Actress in a TV Drama chatted on the phone, presumably sharing the news of her win with friends and family.
