Have you ever needed glamorous red lip to go with your perfect outfit, but when you put it on, you just don't feel as perfect as you thought you would?

As you may know, there are two types of skin undertone: cool and warm. You need to choose your red lip according to that. If you have a warm skin undertone, you want to get red that have a bit more orange in them to enhance your beauty. If you have a cool skin undertone, you want to look for a red that is a bit more pink/blue. You are probably asking yourself, "how do I know if I'm warm or cool?"

COLOR OF YOUR VEINS
For this first trick, you need to be in natural light for it to work better. What you want to do is look at your wrists and see if your veins look more green or blue. If under a natural light your veins look green, you are warm and if they look blue, you are cool.

GOLD OR SILVER
The second trick is to check what looks better on you: gold or silver. Gold is a warm color and silver is a cool color. So if gold looks better with your complexions, you are warm and if silver looks better on you, you are cool.

OFF-WHITE OR PURE WHITE
This third trick is one of my favorites: try on some pure white and off-white clothes. Off-whites are often warmer than cool, so that's how you know if you have a warmer undertone to your skin. Pure white is considered like a cool white so obviously, if pure white looks better on you, you have a cool undertone to your skin.

If all of these tricks don't work on you, there is a good chance you have a neutral skin tone. This means that you can pull off warm- and cool-colored reds and it’s all about how you feel.
