I'm sure all non-Superstars (and shopaholic Superstars, too!) can relate to my struggle. Stardoll releases a new collection with so many beautiful pieces...but they're nearly all Stardollar items, and my Stardollar budget is pitifully low! What can I do? I also seem to constantly have more than enough Starcoins, but Stardollar items are more popular and offer more selection.

I wanted to see if I could find good 'dupes' for certain Stardollar items in Starcoins, all within my closet. Do you really need to spend all your Stardollars for a chic look? Let's see...

Obviously, there are no perfect dupes here, but I was suprised in a few ways. While no two items in the outfits are exactly alike, many are pretty similar! The headbands in the first outfits are very much different, but they have the same style to them. The cardigans in the second set of outfit are glaringly different, but they still have the same flowy, casual feel to them.

The lesson here? No, Starcoin items will not get you the exact same quality and look of Stardollar items, but settling for Starcoin items doesn't mean sacrificing your style!
