The latest tribute this season is inspired by Dolce & Gabbana! Many of the pieces come from the brand's Spring/Summer '17 collection- which brings the concept of "Italian Tropics" to life. The collection combines many symbols that represent Italy, such as pasta and flowers, and combines them with holiday inspired styles to create a unique aesthetic. Here are my favourite items!

Inspired Glitter Coat 

I am a big fan of sequins, and this coat sure makes good use of them! I adore how this piece makes use of reflective surfaces both in the Stardoll version and the real life version. While it might not be the warmest coat, this item is a great feature piece to use in a warmer weather look. A styling using some other shades of blue might be an interesting experiement, or you could pair it with some causal jeans!

 

Inspired Pasta Skirt 
This skirt is the perfect example of a symbol used by Dolce & Gabbana to represent Italy, pasta, being incorporated into a summery item. I love the A-line shape of this item, and the pasta design looks very pretty combined with red ribbons tied into bows! You could wear this item with its matching top for a full flowy dress, or you could combine it with an item that uses a similar colour scheme. It's up to you!

Inspired Hotpants 
I really adore this bejewled set! Both the Stardoll and the real life versions have a really interesting structure, and I love the delicate embroidery of the items. I wish the Stardoll version was in two parts, but it's easy to cover up one half with a different item so you can use either half as separates instead of a playsuit style item. Experiment with different strategies!
