H&M‘s hooked up with many award winning designers, but they’ve just scored their first partnership with an Oscar nominated director. Sofia Coppola‘s directing both the print and film campaign for the brand’s collaboration with Marni. A spokesperson for H&M told WWD that Coppola, along with Marni’s Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni, represent their “true dream team.” The two shot the film in Morocco in October, way before the collaboration was even announced, and Coppola’s directing the print campaign in the film’s image. The short will play in movie theaters, as well as online and international TV and the print ads will pop up in all of the expected places.
