Skin Guides: Combination Skin

Prije 86 mjeseca

Hello, dolls!

For our final Skin Guide, we have combination skin, also known as normal skin. This skin isn't here nor there and is usually a mix of dryness and oil. If you have combination skin, a piece of tissue or thin paper will somewhat stick to your forehead, but will quickly fall off. Combination skin is often viewed as the easiest to manage, but it doesn't mean that it doesn't need some care!

Cleansers:
While you don't have to worry much about searching for an oil-free cleanser, you still need to use a gentle cleanser to save the oils on your skin and stop it from drying out. If you notice your skin switching to become oily or dry, opt out your cleaner for an oil-free or more oil-based one until your skin returns to normal.

Toner:
Use a gentle, natural toner to suit your needs. Combination skin can be easy to manage or be associated with issues of dry or oily skin - for example, large pores. Use a specific toner if you see these sort of problems arising!

Moisturiser:
Use a good quality moisturiser that keeps your skin hydrated for as long as possible. Don't use super thick moisturisers or completely oil-free ones, as they can tip your skin into dryness or oiliness.

Mask/Treatment:
Use a mask or treatment to suit your specific needs. Sometimes those with combination skin can have an issue with dullness - and the perfect solution for this is a brightening mask or serum. Use one that has lots of vitamins, especially Vitamin C!
