Hey everyone! Beatrix here. 

When someone asks me what my favorite movie (or book) genre is - my almost immediate response is an excitedly shouted "Horror!" 

And not many people are as fond of horror as I am, and today , I hope to help you become a Horror Freak as well!

1. There are different levels and types of horror. For example, I don't like gore - but I love paranormal and the supernatural! You can pick and choose what kind of horror you want. 

2. If you don't like to be scared, watch a bad horror movie! Bad horror movies can be hilarious! The bad costumes and horrible acting aren't scary in the slightest. 

3. The special effects in movies are either really great or really bad. Special effects can make or break a horror movie - and I find it amusing to watch the effects do one or the other. 

4. The twist endings! Most horror movies/books do not have predictable endings, which makes it so much more exciting!

5. You can learn a lot from the horror genre. A lot of the times horror books/movies/tv shows will have science incorporated as well.
