Amber.Stardoll- After the horrendous break up between Katy Perry and Russell Brand, both parties have retreated. We've spotted them a few times, and they always look so sad and lonely. But that conception is wrong, at least for Russell! Yesterday when he was speaking to TV writers in Pasadena, California and was asked how he was coping he answered, "Quite well, thank you. Are you asking because of recent events? You are making the mistake of seeing time as linear," he said and continued, "The brilliant American author Kurt Vonnegut, he'll tell you that if you imagine reality as experienced simultaneously, events become redundant." Errh... okay? When they discussed Russell's up coming project 'Strangely Uplifting', he said that the goal was to make people happy. Well, is he happy? "Yes, I am," Russell said and smiled. While we're happy for Russell that he's getting over Katy, it must be hard for her. It's all so fast! (people)

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be presenting an award together at the 69th annual Golden Globes, and we are so excited!The couple is not only added to the list of the presenters. They are also up for some own rewards: Best Actor and Best Mo-Pic nods for Brad and Best Foreign Lang Film for Angelina.There are also a huge list of other celebrities who will be presenting awards, like Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, Natalie Portman and Nicole Kidman for example. Just an example of Downton Abbeyonce's brilliance... Earlier this week we mentioned that more than twenty designers were rallying in support of President Obama’s reelection campaign. From Marc Jacobs to Eddie Borgo, they whipped up everything from pins and t-shirts to tote bags and scarves. No one mentioned, however, that House of Deréon would be participating! The site‘s just gone live and includes a DIY-like t-shirt designed by Bey and her mom, Tina. It’s covered with an American flag and says things like, “Yes we can!” and “Transform a nation together.” There’s been so much news from the Beyoncé front this week that the Internet’s gone a little crazy. For example, Downton Abbeyoncé, a brand new Tumblr, illustrates Downton Abbey scenes with Beyoncé lyrics, like “Pat yo weave” plastered on top of a picture of Lady Mary Crawley fixing her hair in the vanity mirror. An even better example’s above, but you should really check out the whole thing.
ElleGirl- There weren’t many couples on the star-studded red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards last night, but the ones that graced the show were almost unbearably cute. With their expensive shoes and their ear-to-ear smiles, their obvious relationship bliss made the pain of staying up late to watch an internet vote-based award show in old sweatpants seem like a treat. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Without a doubt, Miley and Liam were the cutest couple at the PCA’s this year. We won’t lie, even if things don’t work out the second time around for this young couple, we’re glad they joined forces to be a completely adorable sandy-haired, rep carpet drab-fighting duo. Their outfits were also perfectly matched: both were tan, perfectly groomed and beaming.

Alyson Hannigan and Alex Densiof Alyson Hannigan was positively glowing at this years PCA’s in a red Alice + Olivia mini. The 37-year-0ld mom-to-be took home the award for Favorite Network TV Comedy along with her fellow How I Met Your Mother castmates. Her husband, Alex Densiof kept a huge smile on his face (and his hand on her prominently displayed baby bump) for the entire evening.

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev This off and on (or, at least, kissing on) screen couple didn’t walk down the red carpet together. They did return to LAX together though, where Ian pulled Nina’s luggage while the grinning Favorite Actress in a TV Drama chatted on the phone, presumably sharing the news of her win with friends and family.
