As someone who has grown up using the internet, I'm positive that I've seen almost everything and met nearly every kind of person. There were people that had bad intentions, people that had no interest in talking to me, and then there were the people that turned out to be great friends.

Stardoll gives us a platform to express ourselves in many ways, as well as an opportunity to meet new people without risking our private information being exposed. However, there are many more sites that allow you to talk to strangers without having to give out any info about yourself. I decided to test exactly how safe those sites are.

I decided to start up a conversation with a few strangers on a chatting website. After some small talk, they asked about my age, and I told them I was twelve for the sake of the experiment. In conclusion, roughly 6 out of 10 adults wanted to exchange inappropriate pictures and talk about inappropriate things despite thinking I was only 12 years old. 

Some of you might jump and say, "Twelve-year-olds aren't stupid, they're not going to give them what they want!"

Well, I'm here to tell you that many young children are extremely gullible and will trust just about any person they meet online. I'm no exception - I used to be like that too! But, giving the wrong thing to the wrong person can be the worst decision you ever make and could possibly make your life a lot worse. If you're still a child, and someone asks you inappropriate things, you should never, under any circumstances continue the conversation and send anything inappropriate as well. What they're doing is illegal, and they could be fined, or in extreme cases, end up in prison for a maximum of 15 years.
