- So yesterday we speculated that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were expecting another baby and while Jen's rep originally denied it, they just announced that YES, she is totally pregnant again!
This will be the third child for Jen and Ben, they already have two daughters, Violet and Seraphina. We think that they're maybe hoping for a boy but we know that they will be over the moon if it's another girl! We're so excited for Jen and Ben! Congrats you two! (usmagazine)

Isaac Mizrahi showed his first collection in 1987, at a trunk show at Bergdorf Goodman. Since then, the brand—and the man behind it—has been through dozens of ups and downs. He officially “came back” when he started designing for Target in 2002. Eventually, Mizrahi returned to New York Fashion Week and took up his rightful place in the Bryant Park Tents. This season, he’ll sit out the season for the first time in years. A publicist says, “We will be releasing images this season in lieu of a show.” It’s a bummer that Mizrahi’s typically theatrical presentations and colorful dresses won’t see a runway, but even more so if the lack of a show indicates greater financial troubles. Meanwhile, your disappointment will either be heightened or lessened by learning that Avril Lavigne will make a triumphant return to New York Fashion Week. The singer, who’s really big in Japan, last showed her Abbey Dawn collection here in September of 2009. Since then, she’s released a fragrance, recorded a song for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, gotten divorced, finally released a new album and started dating Brody Jenner. Her collection, which is sold exclusively at Kohl’s, will get the runway treatment at the Metropolitan Pavilion on September 12th.

- So maybe we weren’t alive when all of these awesome bands were in the height of their success, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t appreciate their timeless personal styles. Music and fashion often go hand-in-hand, so it only makes sense that we’d cover some of the greatest and most followed bands in rock ‘n’ roll history. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite cult-classic groups of all time, and although we might not have seen them live in concert (too bad we missed Woodstock, among others) we can still be grateful for these everlasting and inspirational trends which they originated themselves. Hey, maybe even your parents can relate to this one…right?

- We love wearing black and white, it's always looks so sophisticated, but sometimes it can be a bit tired and boring! So add a bit of color, like pop of red or bright blue! Fashionista, Fearne Cotton, spiced up her bland black and white outfit with red nails, red sandals, a bright red bag, and crimson lips! It's so simple but so bold! Click on the photos to see more of Fearne's amazing outfit!

- One of the hottest hairstyles right now is the side part! But one way to make this simple style more glamorous is to add some Hollywood glam to it! We love the timeless Old Hollywood hairstyle that we often spot on celebs like January Jones, Scarlett Johansson, and Elizabeth Banks! With soft curls, side-swept hair and red lips they look amazing on the red carpet. So here's a simple step-by-step guide on how to get this awesome style! And hey, it's not as hard as it looks!
1. Start by choosing what side you want to part your hair and then create a straight side part!
2. Use a few hairpins to pin up your hair behind you ear.
3. Heat up your curling iron and start curling on the side of your hair with most hair, from the ear down! The bigger the curls the better!
Don't forget hairspray if you want to look amazing all day and night long!

- Good news sleepy heads! Sleepwear as daywear is making a comeback! (remember when lacy camisoles were in style a few years ago?) Stock up on silky pj pants in bright colors and fun patterns. Not only are they super comfy but they make a bold statement!
Wear kelly green pajama pants with a blue and white striped shirt or simple v-neck or mix and match patterns like Anne Hathaway who wore stripes and squares! We love Anne's style and think she looks super sophisticated even though she could easily have just woken up! Would you wear this trend?

- Most people spend money when planning their wedding but not Kim Kardashian! Kim and hubby, Kris Humphries, are set to earn an estimated $17.9 million for their August 20 wedding! We're not even kidding!
Kim's wedding will be televised sometime in October and she's expected earn about $12 million to $15 million for that and since she sold the wedding pictures exclusively to People magazine she'll earn another $2.5 million! Not only that but most of her wedding was paid for by sponsors like her wedding cake (about $20,000), her Vera Wang wedding dress ($20,000), two more Vera Wang dresses ($40,000), Perrier Jouet Champagne ($400,000), and her hair and make up ($150,000). All of that for FREE. So brides-to-be here's a lesson for you: get a reality show, get engaged, and maybe you won't have to pay for anything and you'll even earn enough money to retire for life. Easy! (perezhilton)

There were two royal weddings in the UK this year. One, between Prince William and Kate Middleton, influenced the shape of Kim Kardashian’s wedding cake. The other, between Kate Moss and Jamie Hince, appears to have influenced the black and white theme (though quite differently). But Lindsay Lohan acts as the surprise tie-breaker when measuring the influence of each—she wore Pippa Middleton’s party dress to the Kardashian/Humphries nuptials. After Pippa, the Duchess of Cambridge’s older sister, basically stopped the world from spinning when she stepped out in her white Alexander McQueen maid of honor dress, she changed into a green silk gown for the reception. The dress, made by British designer Alice Temperley, had come down the runway in white but was dyed green for the occasion. This weekend, Lindsay topped off the original with some seriously platinum hair and chunky bangs, but do you think she one-upped Pippa?

It's apparently Kanye day here at ELLE.com. If Marc Jacobs really does make a move to Christian Dior, who will take over Louis Vuitton? The storied French luggage maker owes its ready-to-wear reputation to Jacobs, who was asked to turn Vuitton into a lifestyle brand in 1997. Since then, Jacobs’ clothes have held their own against inimitable accessories—and we’re not just talking about logo bags—and become celebrity favorites. The Vuitton show in Paris has become as anticipated as Jacobs’ own in New York and, though it traditionally closes the season, sets the tone for trends to come. Rumor has it Bernard Arnault, the owner and president of LVMH, favors Phoebe Philo for the job. So desperate was Arnault to get Philo to join his stable of stars that three years ago, he offered her anything. Philo chose to reinvent Céline instead launching her own eponymous label and quickly turned the dusty house into fashion’s favorite. Now, WWD reports that Arnault would like her to creatively direct Louis Vuitton—while also leading the team at Céline. It sounds like an impossibly huge responsibility to lead both, quite disparate brands, though there’s no doubt the fashion world can’t get enough of Philo. Guess all that talk of over-working designers was little more than just that!
