“Reality TV“—how does that word taste in your mouth? We either eat it up or spit it out, but there’s always that one person who’s the exception to the rules of the reality star world. Lauren Conrad has risen to the top of her career with two fashion lines, three books, and a beauty website without falling into the doom and gloom that usually comes with the post-reality show life (Oh, that guy is STILL on Real World challenges, how old is he, 50?). Although she came to fame as our favorite “character” on Laguna beach and The Hills, Conrad was never just your typical reality star—we knew right away that the girl had spunk. But spunk in the form of dip-dyed ends? Even we didn’t see this coming from the always classy fashion princess. But guess what, we got your back Lauren. We are BIG fans of the dip-dye trend. Conrad left the power up to us in the form of a poll on her beauty site. She asked readers whether or not she should leave the tie-dyed tips to the “rebelling teens,” but we all know that there’s nothing better than those teenage years. Sixty percent of “Do It’s” got the job done, and uh…who’s to say whether or not my finger hit the “Do It” button more times than one. Conrad posted the result today and opted for tie-dyed ends of purple, pink, and blue. And well, with a few tousled strands of purple hair myself, I can’t say I hate it. Like it, love it, want it? Here are some tips on how to dip dye your own hair. After all, this is a new generation of party people.

Ever dreamed of being in the shoes of Kristen Stewart for a day? To walk around the Twilight set while sharing tender kisses with a pale white Robert Pattinson? Well now you can! Sort of... Kristen recently donated an autographed pair of black sneakers to the charity organization "Shoe Revolt" and they'll soon be auctioned off to the highest bidder! All the money will go towards preventing trafficking of young girls so not only would you receive a hip pair of kebs, you'd also be doing some good!

And who knows? Perhaps these sneakers have even been rendered sacred by the touch of Rob!

Gwyneth Paltrow has really managed to take cooking to a whole new level with the release of her debut cook book! Her success has been so overwhelming that even rock bands have joined in the line of people fighting to have her in their projects!

Liam Gallagher, former member of the 90s hit band "Oasis" has given Gwnyeth the peculiar job of opening the show for his new band Beady Eye's concert in London today. Not with song, but with talk about cooking!

According to the organizers, Gwyneth will be "exploring some of the themes of the book as well as discussing why cookery has become such an important part of her life”.

This could be fun to watch! We wonder if she will be cheered or booed at by the crowd?

We spotted celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and her son Skyler go out for coffee at a Starbucks in Los Angeles yesterday. They were accompanied by their nanny who was wearing an earpiece, and it made us wonder what job actually is the hardest... Being Rachel's assistant, or being her nanny?

We have all seen the stressful life she and her assistants lead in the reality show "The Rachel Zoe Project", but what is life really like for those involved with her baby? Hurry up and give us "The Skyler Project" so we can find out!

We spotted super model Claudia Schiffer and her husband Matthew Vaughn walk their daughter Clementine to school this Friday. While mom and daughter were dressed to the nines, Claudia in a casually chic summer outfit and Clementine in a too cute for words straw hat, dad Matthew kept it veeery casual. Perhaps he just wasn't expecting photogs at 7 in the morning? Either way he should know that fashion never sleep in late!

We spotted Sin City star Devon Aoki and her hubby James Bailey take their newborn baby boy out for a stroll in Los Angeles yesterday. Devon gave birth little over a month ago, and she seems to be enjoying motherhood and summer vacation rather than going crazy with a post baby diet. Good for her we say! She looks just as gorgeous as a size 10 as she does size 0!

    Reese Witherspoon, Splash News

Tomboys, unite! It’s true—baseball hats may not have the rep as being the most fashionable accessory, but they’re a definitive do. Celebs are spotted out and about in them all the time. OK, sometimes they’re out for a jog and the cap is the best way to cover bedhead. But sometimes they’re wearing them as part of an actual ensemble. So here are few starlets who are dedicated to the masculine head-topper. The baseball hat a là Reese Witherspoon (above) is one of our favorite ways to wear it. It’s an obvious choice for those of us going on a run who have yet to shower for the day.

An exclusive look at Diane von Furstenberg's customized tote for eBay's new campaign, "You Can't Fake Fashion." Photo: eBay

EBay, once a counterfeiter’s mecca, is cracking down hard on fashion fakes. The auction site has worked hard to ramp up their fashion presence over the past year: they’ve hired Andrea Linnet as Creative Director, Annabel Tollman as Brand Ambassador, invited Narciso Rodriguez and Derek Lam to design exclusive collections and devote front page space to other fashion folk nearly everyday. Now, they’re taking an active stand on an issue that’s especially close to the industry’s heart—fakes. On Monday, in collaboration with the CFDA, eBay will launch a campaign against counterfeit goods and stolen designs. Their tagline “You Can’t Fake Fashion” will adorn limited-edition totes retailing at $35 as well as bags customized by a slew of CFDA members including Diane Von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Billy Reid, Tory Burch, Jason Wu, Marchesa, Rodarte and The Row, all of which will retail for $150. The practical and roomy canvas totes (hello weekend packing!) will be exclusive to eBay and all proceeds will benefit the CFDA.
