Keeping A Healthy Headspace

Hey, Dolls!

This is a blog post that is for all you who may be lacking motivation lately and may need a little bit of a boost. The following information is from my own research and from a pamphlet I've received at my counseling clinic that describes ways we can keep a healthier headspace.

 

Getting Into Life

Participating in activities such as hobbies we enjoy like singing or painting, spending time with family friends or even doing indulgent activities like taking a warm bath or putting a soothing face mask on can keep the joy in your life and give you a sense of accomplishment. Other things such as educational activities like learning a new language, doing homework, or studying can also make us feel accomplished, and more organized.

 

Get Enough Sleep

Sleep can affect your mood in negative ways such as agitation and increased anxiety. By getting enough sleep you can improve your mood, sharpen concentration and increase resilience.

 

Seek Help

Reaching out and asking for help is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. You can contact your local headspace Clinique, get online counseling or express your feelings to someone close to you.
