A Girl and Her Blog - Part 1

Today I'm going to talk about the process of creating a blog post. Blogs are a great place to express your opinions and be creative, but there's a bit of a formula for a good post. Ready? Let's go!

The subject

The topic of your blog post should be something that interests you, something you can write a lot about. Maybe there's a debate going on, and you want to give your opinion in a blog post.

The intro

Keep your introduction short and attention-grabbing. Let your readers know what you're blogging about, but don't give away the whole post! That's what you do in the next part...

The body

For the main part of your entry, you can break it into bullet points to cover your points (kind of like this!), or use a more formal paragraph style. Try to be as concise as possible.

Wrap it up

Your conclusion doesn't have to be huge. Sum up what you've said, or give the readers a question to think about. Sometimes you don't even need a conclusion if you've already said it all!
