Applying makeup in real life can be hard to get the hang of if you're just starting to use it.  Practice makes perfect, but knowing the basics and a few tips and tricks will help you a lot.  I asked some dolls for their favourite makeup tips, and here they are!

My makeup tip would be to invest in a primer! It makes your makeup (e.g. foundation or eyeshadows) last SO much longer because you don't need to use nearly as much to get the same coverage as without the primer. -lexi_sugar

I think one of my favorite makeup tips is using a cream product that can be used as an eye shadow, blusher, and lipstick all in one. This way you can apply makeup on the go and look effortless and natural! -selemina125

My tip for eyeshadow is to get a dark neutral color and create a triangle on half your eyelid. Take a lighter color and apply it on the other half, overlapping the dark color. Blend together, creating an effortless effect.  Also make sure to use makeup that is nonacnegenic or noncomedogenic because if you don't, the makeup could clog up your pores and cause acne. -GennyFaithSimm
