Styling Blumarine

il y a 17 mois

A new Tribute Season has arrived on Stardoll, and the first brand is Blumarine! I was so excited for this tribute as it's one of my favorite brands. Since becoming creative director in 2019, Nicola Brognano has revived the brand with the help of stylist Lotta Volkova, referencing 2000s it-girls.

For my first outfit, I was inspired by Britney's Madonna-inspired outfit from the 2003 VMAs, with the white dress with a lace trim camisole, and layered cross pendant necklaces with matching earrings. I went for a pair of slouchy white boots (like Britney's) which I have been loving paired with floaty skirts at the moment, though some strappy heels would also work. Continuing with the '00s popstar theme, I then styled the low-rise satin cargos with a silver chain belt, and a criss-cross halter top referencing XTina at the 2002 VMAs. For accessories, I added some 'B' earrings to match the belt, some tinted sunglasses, and then the matching fluffy newsboy cap, sandals and handbag.

Next, I chose this leopard print coat with shaggy fur cuffs. I went for more of a glam style with the metallic pink mini dress, but a simple white baby tee and slouchy jeans would be great for a more dressed-down look. I again accessorized with the necklaces and matching earrings, and then a glittery pink headscarf and shoes in a similar sheer pink glitter style. I then chose this one-shoulder top with fur trim, which references the signature Blumarine fur collar cardigan. I styled it with a pair of brown snakeskin pants, and a matching baby pink fur bag and sandals. You could also switch the pants for some low-rise jeans instead. I added a cute pink flower choker, hair clips, and some sunglasses.

I then chose this denim camouflage mini skirt with cargo pockets. I love it with the matching shirt, but I styled it with a simple white tank top instead. I added a bag and pair of heels with gold chain detail, a leather newsboy cap, then the 'B' necklace with some matching earrings. Next, I chose the long cargo skirt with straps that remind me of octopus pants. I styled it with a cutout top, but a simple black or white cropped tank top would work too. I added some earrings and sunglasses in muted silver to match the skirt, then some simple heels and the black butterfly bag, with the buckles tying in with the detail on the skirt.

Next, I went for a 2000s party look with this halterneck handkerchief dress. I styled it with the bright red rose choker and strappy heels, which I thought were a nice contrast with the zebra print on the dress. To complete the outfit, I added some mini hoop earrings, sunglasses, and a Chanel bag with red flowers to tie in with the choker and heels. Finally, I styled the red multi-pocket bag with some matching red leather pants, and a black tank with lace-up detail. I added a black leather beret and a pair of strappy heels, but you could do red or black platform sandals instead. For jewelry, I chose a pair of silver hoops and a studded black choker.
