For this blog post, I have styled some items from the Velvet Orchid daily looks!

Starting with my first outfit, where I chose this black leather belt which has long fringing on one half. I couldn’t resist going for a western-inspired look, pairing a little strapless leather top with a matching miniskirt (a pair of black leather low-rise bootcut pants would be so good), then accessorizing with some strappy heels, a saddle bag, hoop earrings and a cowboy hat. My next outfit was inspired by Rihanna's Givenchy outfit at the 2014 iheartradio awards show, which was a leather jacket worn over the shoulders with a lace mesh, and a mix of layered necklaces. For my take, I switched the heels for a pair of chunky boots, a matching Prada Sidonie handbag, and a pair of black sunglasses. You could also add a pair of hoop earrings to the outfit, like Rihanna.

Next, I chose this slip dress in an iridescent velvet fabric which came in two colorways. I chose the teal one and styled it with a gold chain around the waist, some matching gold mules, and hoops. For a bag, I found this mini blue bag with gold embellishments from Chanel Pre-Fall 2012 which I thought worked perfectly with the dress. For my next outfit, I chose these mixed metal chandelier earrings. I took elements from the 2000s, with the halter neck chainmail top, low-rise jeans, gold chain belt, and clutch bag with hoop handle. To complete the outfit, I added some strappy heels and a fur stole. You could switch the fur stole for a fur coat instead, and the jeans for a low-rise miniskirt.  

I then chose this pair of gold heels with ankle straps, which I paired with this slinky brown slip dress layered with a black lace bra. For accessories, I chose the chunky gold hoops and matching necklace to tie-in with the heels, and then I went with this Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons Pochette bag to continue with the gold accents but to also add in the different brown colors from the Fragonard painting print. For my final outfit, I chose this square-shaped Louis Vuitton bag, which first appeared on the Spring 2018 runway. I styled the bag with a brown fur off-the-shoulder jacket and gold jewelry to match the chain on the bag, and then a white shirt dress and some simple strappy heels. This bag would also work with my previous outfit!
