Styling Old Graphics #4

il y a 49 mois

As old graphic items were from the early days of SD and Paperdoll Heaven (back in 2004!), it’s easy for me to go down the ‘00s route with the styling, with items including low-rise pants, super mini skirts, and slinky tops. However, for this Styling Old Graphics post, I decided to go for more of a retro ‘60s-70s inspired look.

Starting with my first outfit, I chose this super cute mini dress that reminded me of a ‘60s go-go dress. I layered the dress with a white shirt, but a turtleneck or t-shirt would work too. I then added some white go-go boots, but you could choose some strappy platforms with white socks instead. To accessorize, I added a black beret, hoops, and then a handbag that matches the dress with the brown and light blue. For my next outfit, I chose this brown leather jacket (I styled the black version in my previous old graphics post), which I paired with some brown flares. I then added a white graphic tee to contrast the brown, a pair of statement sunglasses with crystals for a subtle sparkle, a black bag and then a pair of chunky boots.

Then, I chose this mini dress with a colorful graphic print. I layered the dress with a black turtleneck, and then chose the bright yellow shoulder bag, matching the print on the dress. I then went for a black headband, sunglasses, sheer socks, and classic pumps. For my final outfit, I was inspired by Alessandro Michele’s Gucci aesthetic. I layered an old graphic shirt under a bright patterned knit vest, and added an oversized boxy blazer with a grid print for a subtle pattern clash. Then, I went for a pair of cropped flares, some bright socks to match the vest, some cute Gucci mary-jane flats (classic loafers would also work), a mini bag, a black bow tie, and some oversized gold glasses.
