The Journey Of Basics Decor

il y a 52 mois

Welcome back!

When the affordable yet tasteful brand Basics Decor first appeared in the StarPlaza, many dolls were quick to buy its products - the array of furniture available appeared almost endless and this brand was truly a savior to dolls who wanted to decorate their suites with Starcoin items. However, if you weren’t into minimalism or block colors, this brand wasn’t for you - you would have to save up to go to a different store with more intricate designs.

Later on, Basics Decor began releasing items with a vintage finish, which could only be bought with Stardollars, such as the ‘Mademoiselle Flowers Red,’ the ‘30s Mirror Gold’ and the ‘1958 Cruiser Red.' This gave the brand an advantage above others as Basics Decor, had vintage-themed Stardollar items as well as minimalistic Starcoin pieces, while many brands have a set theme and target market on Stardoll.

However, I, like many others, was simply blown away by the appearance, price and thoughtfulness behind their newest set of releases. Despite every item being Starcoin only, these items are truly exceptional. The sets of fruity drinks, the plants and deck chairs create a garden-like and pleasant atmosphere for any doll’s suite. Yet, the ‘Staycation’ signs and the version of the popular wartime poster encouraging mask-wearing are both wonderful comments on how dolls can handle the coronavirus pandemic, as well as very uplifting for those who have been feeling down during lockdown. It’s safe to say that Basics Decor has come a long way, and will continue to expand its variety in decor pieces. What do you hope they start selling next?

Take care,
