Styling Old Graphics

il y a 53 mois

In the comments of one of my previous blog posts, it was suggested that I style some of the old graphic items. As an avid collector for a few years now, I thought it was a fun idea for a blog post!

To start, I chose this strapless midi-dress. I went for an outfit inspired by Rihanna, with the layered jewelry (a mix of chains and crystals), statement sunglasses and strappy heels. The mirrored mini bag is a perfect way to complete the look. For a more dressed-down approach, I would layer the dress with a white t-shirt, and pair it with some chunky white sneakers and minimal jewelry. For my next outfit, I created a halter neck mini dress with hoop details by combining a swimsuit with a skirt. I wanted to keep the outfit minimal, so I chose a pair of strappy heels with matching hoops, and then a black headband and mini bag.

Moving on to my next outfit, which was inspired by the outfits seen in the 2000 film Coyote Ugly. I styled the lace-up crop top with some black low-rise pants and some strappy heels. For the western elements, I added a chunky buckle belt, a chain strap handbag, and of course, a cowboy hat. To complete the outfit, I added a pair of silver hoops, but you could swap the hoops for a leather choker instead. For my final outfit, I wanted to style this camo print tied shirt. I layered it with a lace bra, and added a leather low-rise mini skirt. The pair of black low-rise pants would be a great alternative. To accessorize, I went with a black leather beret and matching handbag, a pair of oval sunglasses, and then some heels which lace up the legs.

Thank you for reading, and thanks to Vampire007 for suggesting this blog post idea!
