Fringe Benefits

il y a 105 mois

I have a habit about making rash decisions about my hair. Today I played it safe and decided to only get a fringe! When I wen't to do a little research I found out that thousands of women are scared to get a fringe because of excuses like face shape . To a girl who has had hair from long and red to pixie cut short, I was a bit confuzzled.

Going into the salon I believed that I could never ever be the goddess of fringes (Zooey Deschanel) and, well, I'm pleasantly surprised. As a girl with a round face shape I read a lot of "don't do this" and "never get this", so as a natural teen, I decided to get those.

I love my fringe!

It makes me sad that I had such low expectations when it turned out that my hair feels amazing. I have read so many articles on how fringes are dreadful and should only be used to conceal a large forehead. I have a small-ish forehead, and I honestly think the fringe has made it seem much longer, as well as framing my face and accentuating my cheek bones. For a cut said to do the opposite, I think I'm winning at life.

My advice is to do what you want! Go with what your heart says, and remember, its just hair!

Fringes, are they what they're cut out to be?
