The sad Target dog that greets you instead of happy Missoni zig-zags.
Proenza Schouler for Target meant lines out the door and Rodarte brought chaos at the register, but this morning’s launch of Missoni’s 400-piece collection has crashed their site. Instead of zig-zags, you get a picture of a toolbox. When reality hit, the fashion pack freaked out. Stylists Emily Current and Merrit Elliot Tweeted, “Whatever @target. crashed site. we had a whole cart and checking out and you crash?!? rude. guess no throws for us. booooo.” At least when the site does work, it won’t be sold out!

- We've seen Lady Gaga in all types of crazazy outfits from a meat dress to a bubble dress, she's done it all. But recently the Gaga has dressed pretty normal (for her) and it's been refreshing! But nothing lasts forever and we just spotted Lady Gaga wearing this outlandish red dress with red sunglasses and taaallll red shoes ensemble and two thoughts came to our mind: ladybug and alien. Maybe it is true, maybe she is was really hatched from a giant alien egg. ;)

- Spring 2012 Fashion Week is in full swing here in New York, and we’re ogling over all the flowy, romantic, I’m-so-glad-I-was-born-a-girl looks that the upcoming season has to offer. For spring, designers are garnering a truly womanly vision: we’re seeing less androgyny and architectural/geometric lines and more of the feminine flavor that makes dressing up so much fun. And what better way to begin than paying tribute to one of the prettiest shades on the spectrum: pink. Below, check out 10 ways to wear pink next season as inspired by the shows so far at NYFW.

- It seems like Ashley Tisdale is always going to the salon, we see her there every week! We recently spotted Ashley leaving a salon and doesn't it look like her hair is shorter? We think it does! Maybe she was inspired by her bestie, Vanessa Hudgens, and decided to chop off her hair?

Gia Coppola, Melissa Coker & Bella Zarember. Photo: Billy Farrell Agency
Fashion Week got a touch of cool LA girl style last night at Mister H at Mondrian SoHo. Guests watched “What’s Up,” a short film by Gia Coppola that includes clothes from Wren and jewels from Fallon. Tennessee Thomas DJ’ed, while Miranda July and Sofia Coppola popped up to support their friends (and relatives!). “The way Gia can romanticize girl characters, it’s a really natural fit,” said Wren’s Melissa Coker. “I love how it’s this dynamic portrayal of a day in California, and the quality of light.” Bella Zarember, the star, spends a languid day at home in LA. trying on clothes and playing with jewelry against a backdrop of class schedules and The Strokes stickers before heading outside for a walk. She forgets to put on shoes (or doesn’t care?), but it doesn’t stop her from stomping on a hermit crab on the sidewalk. “We shot during the Carmaggdon weekend, when the 405 was closed, so I tried to incorporate the idea of not being able to go out and being trapped inside. I remember in high school, not being able to drive, and imagined what you do at that age,” explained Coppola. “You can’t drive, you look on Facebook…There was this cute kid, Cortez, who was going to be the annoying younger brother, but it got too long,” she said. As for what’s next, Coppola’s gearing up to work with America’s favorite renaissance man: “James Franco wrote Palo Alto stories, so I’m going to direct that. I’m excited!”
