Armani’s given us the first look at fall’s Giorgio campaign. It stars a pretty elegant looking Sasha Pivovarova in a mauve fur with an orange python bag. Mert and Marcus also shot Diego Fragoso, the Brazilian model who just covered the spring/summer edition of Hercules and walked everything from Mugler to Louis Vuitton during men’s fashion week. Marchesa AW11. Photo: Imaxtree
Now that nearly everyone in fashion is on Twitter, Tumblr or some other online-meets-social media outlet, it’s become quite hard to keep a secret. Last night, stylist Tabitha Simmons let spill that Marchesa would be staging a proper show this season. She tweeted, “Now going to see the Marchesa collection! Can’t wait as they are having a show this season. I will keep you posted.” Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have been staging simple, elegant presentations in the Chelsea Arts Museum for years. Models usually stand still in Marchesa’s ornate dresses and sky high heels built in collaboration with Christian Louboutin, often on top of pedestals or boxes. Though anyone who’s watched a red carpet on TV has seen a Marchesa dress in motion, watching them move down a runway, on professional models, will be a totally new experience. If this is the kind of news coming out of fall fashion week, it will be slightly easier to bid summer farewell.

Who: Emma Stone
What: Crazy, Stupid, Love premiere at New York City’s Ziegfeld Theater on July 19
Wear: Tom Ford black lace dress, gunmetal Christian Louboutin pumps, Fred Leighton earrings and ring, Salvatore Ferragmo clutch (not pictured)
Emma Stone stepped out in style for the star-studded premiere of her latest film, Crazy, Stupid, Love at Ziegfeld Theater in New York City last night. The actress (and ELLE’s July cover girl), whose career has been on fire with movies like Easy A, wore a retro-looking black lace dress from Tom Ford’s fall 2011 collection. Her modified version of the elegant frock transformed it perfectly for the red carpet and easily made others forget her young age. Stone opted for clean accessories, wearing simple Christian Louboutin gray and black pumps with chandelier earrings and a three diamond square ring. Her sideswept hair and rouge lipstick shade polished off her classic ensemble.

- OMG! Vanessa Hudgens chopped off all of her hair! For her role as a pregnant, homeless teenager in the movie, "Gimme Shelter," V took some scissors to her locks in what we think is a really cute, choppy bob! We do miss her long, shiny curls but we have to give some credit- she takes her roles super seriously! Remember when Natalie Portman shaved her head? Yeah, that's dedication! What do you guys think of V's new hair? Love it or hate it?

Ahhh summer music fests (or any live music for that matter)…there’s literally nothing better. The first thing you’ll realize about any concert with a crowd, however, is that well, there is absolutely no etiquette. It’s every man (or girl) for himself out there. Concerts can get tough, especially if you want to get as close to the stage as possible. After all, your favorite singer did stare into your eyes at last year’s venue (OK we know—the band can’t see anyone because of the lights blinding them on stage, but a girl can dream). With an upcoming rock fest in tow—Lollapalooza (Aug 5-7; check out how you and a friend can win tickets)—there’s no better time to start gearing up. Whether you are raging with Dead Mau5, moshing to Death From Above 1979, swaying along with Two Door Cinema Club, or rapping to Kid Cudi, we’ve rounded up ten show survival tips for that flawless sing-until-you-can’t-sing-anymore summer concert experience.

- Everybody has to start somewhere, but it’s hard to imagine that some of our biggest celebs have had ordinary jobs before they got famous! - We’ve become so accustomed to seeing Lady Gaga in the most ridiculous outfits that we’re not even sure if she owned any “normal” clothes. She seems hardly human: Gaga is hardly ever seen without her 10-inch backless heels, mesh catsuits, blue wig, spiky shoulders, McQueen armadillo shoes, or some other crazy concoction. The girl’s gotta own a pair of Converse at least. In our research, we’ve managed to dig up a few of Lady Gaga’s most normal outfits. Granted their weren’t many, but here’s what the Queen of Pop looks like without the crazy ensembles and makeup. These extremely random occurrences are definitely only a once-in-a-blue-moon occasion. Here she is getting out of a car wearing laced up boots and denim shirt. We love this casual yet edgy outfit choice!

Emma Stone’s in New York this week to promote her new movie, Crazy Stupid Love. All those pretty New York girls may be crazy jealous that she’s spending every waking minute with Ryan Gosling, but they’ve simultaneously been won over by her impeccable red carpet style. Stone wore a red and pink color blocked Giambattista Valli look to the premiere of Friends With Benefits. Her stylist, Petra Flannery, smartly paired it with nude heels and a tiny box clutch. Flannery, who’s on a roll, dressed Stone in Tom Ford for last night’s New York premiere of Crazy, Stupid, Love. Miraculously, the actress still looked her age in the structured dress—even with retro hair and a dark lip. When this press tour wraps up, Stone will start promoting The Help (it comes out in August), which means we’ll be treated to an entire summer filled with stellar red carpet appearances. Any looks you’d particularly love to see her wear?
