Stop Cyberbullying (pt 1)

75 kuukautta sitten

Hi Dollies!

You may remember Daisy (Dlaughx) from her previous campaign regarding cancer. Today, she is back with another campaign against an issue that is just as pressing: cyberbullying and bullying. You can read her presentation for more details. Here are some words from Daisy:

Q. Can you tell me briefly what your campaign is about?

I just started a campaign against (cyber) bullying. During my first campaign (going wigless for cancer patients and survivors),I got a lot of ugly comments of how stupid I was, I was ugly, I didn't know what cancer was, etc. And I received a lot of comments from other dolls, that were with me in the campaign, that they where afraid to go wigless because of those dolls.

So, I started this campaign because I know bullying is still an issue in this world, and I want to start with Stardoll to make it better. I want to spread the word soon, and starting that every doll comments on another doll's Guestbook with a compliment. I want every doll to feel wanted, beautiful and worthy! I hope that I can become the face against (cyber) bullying!

Q. From your experience, if yourself or a friend is getting (cyber)bullied, what should you do?

I think the worst thing to do is to give the bully attention, because then it will get worse. You should support the person who is being bullied and let them know they're not alone, an that you are by their side. I want them to feel loved, even if they're told not to be. The bully should be reported, if it's on Stardoll. In real life,I think you should always let an adult know that you've been bullied. Let the bully know what it does with people and most of all don't let it get to your head.

To be continued...

Hey Dolls!

If you or someone you know is being bullied here on Stardoll, be sure to use the Report tool where it is happening so our staff can see exactly what has happened and step in if necessary. Be kind!

xoxo,
Callie
