Hey Dolls!

Today I'm going to write about one of my passions: skincare! Taking care of your skin is super relaxing and a good way to get a little self care time in every morning and night. I recommend setting aside about 10 minutes per "skincare session" to make sure you can take your time, relax, and make sure you're doing things properly.

First, cleanse. Use either a creamy or a gel cleanser, depending on your skin care. Use warm water and a cleansing brush if you have one! I personally use Glossier's Milky Jelly and a Clarisonic Mia 2. I use a physical exfoliant three times a week: the Shea Moisture Black Soap Scrub.

Next, you're gonna want to tone. This will close your pores and depending on the toner you use, exfoliate chemically. My favorites are plain witch hazel or the Pixi Glow Tonic. Just put a little on a cotton round and dab over your face.

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Even if you're oily, hydrating your skin is impairative. Since I'm dry, I love using the Pixi Rose Ceramide Cream.

Treat your skin! Using serums, masks, pore strips, and tools like a jade roller or extractors can also improve your skin texture. Also, drink your water and make sure you're getting enough fruits and veggies.
