Finding Your Voice!
Have stuff to say, but don't know how to say it? Here's how to get started!
Your Passions
If you want to spread the word about something, you have to have something to spread the word about. Think about what you see in the world that is unfair, and talk about that. It could be LGBT+ rights, racism, health... whatever you are passionate about and interested in. I often speak about mental health in my Stardoll blog, and human rights and racism are big topics I talk to my friends about!Your Platform
Where do you want to talk about the topic you've chosen? You could blog about it online, use it in an essay, or even just talk to your friends and family about it. Do whatever you can to spread the word! There are so many ways to find your voice online - if you aren't into writing, you could try creating videos talking about your topic.Practicing What You Preach
Some people talk, and talk, and talk, but never do anything to back up what they say. Don't be that person! If you see someone being picked on, stand up for them if it's safe for you to do so (and get help if it isn't). Speak out against racist, homophobic, or discriminatory comments - even if it's a friend who is saying them! They will get the message, and will respect you for speaking up.Have you found your voice?
