I am a big fan of StarDesign wigs on Stardoll and especially when you can make it your own by adding your own signature pieces onto it! 

Earlier today, I bought a plait designed by the much loved Dissolvedgirl and thought I'd share with you how I made it my own:

 1. I bought the plait from the starbazaar for just 22sd as parts of wigs are much cheaper than just buying a whole wig on its own. 

2. I picked up the plait with my cursor and moved it onto my doll on the left side of her head as that was where I wanted my braid. 

3. Next, I clicked on the plait and pressed the button that sent it backwards by 1 so the plait would look like it was coming from the top. 

4. Finally, I picked out a hairstyle that matched the hair colour of the plait and one that could bring off the effect of my hairstyle as a plait. 

And we're done! 

That's what I love about DIY hairstyles; they are quick and fun to do!
