Who was David Bowie?

David Bowie was an innovator, an experimentalist, a musical revolutionist, and a gift. He was one of the most influential, multi-talented entertainers of his era - he was a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, painter, record producer, actor, father, and loving husband of 24 years to supermodel, Iman.

His songs were different. They inspired thousands of musicians and singers to be innovative and try something new with their rather 'normal' music style.

David Bowie's music and psyche inspired me. I am a fan of quite a few old singers, but David was always number one. I love different and David was as different as they could get. He may have had a net worth of 135 million pounds, but that was only a fraction of what he was worth to us.

For those who knew his music, knew that he was something special. Space Oddity, Let's Dance, Under Pressure - just three of his numerous songs, songs that will live on.

I have officially concluded that sixty-nine is too young of an age to die. We'll miss you, David... you and your unforgettable alter ego, Ziggy Stardust.
