Well, Salma isn't one yet but soon she'll be knighted by the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy. Wow! The knighting will happen in the next two months and is a great honor in France. This award is given to military personnel and civilians for service to France. Way to go Salma, but should we start calling her "Sir Salma?" (people)

- Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are back from their Christmas vacay! We saw the two arriving to NYC after spending a fun vacation with their families over the holidays! Welcome home! PS. We love that she carries her own stuff and doesn't have assistants help her!

- McSteamy, er, Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayheart just welcomed a baby girl to their family. This is their second daughter, who they named Georgia Geraldine (her older sister is named Billie Beatrice.) Sources say that "both mom and baby girl are happy and healthy, Billie is thrilled to be a big sister, and dad is getting ready to live in a house full of ladies!" Congratulations to Eric, Rebecca, and their little fam! (thehollywoodgossip)

- Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez went to Malibu to enjoy some of their holiday times. Olivier was spotted on the beach with Halle's beautiful daughter Nahla Aubry and a friend of hers. Doesn't it look lovely to run around in the sand and sun?

- Just like Beyonce, Gwen Stefani seemed to enjoy New Years Eve in a quiet family friendly way. No drinks or fire works for this pop princess, Gwen instead chose to visit the Underwood Family Farms on NYE. Although we'd not be too excited to celebrate the beginning of 2012 out there, Gwen seemed to have a great time with her family there!

- Beyonce (she's still pregnant, btw) and Jay-Z didn't ring in 2012 with champagne at a swanky party or martinis at the hottest club, instead they chose to go to a fancy American bistro for dinner and celebrate with each other. The restaurant, Buttermilk Channel, is located in Brooklyn and they had the 3-course tasting menu which included foie gras, butter poached lobster, and duck meatloaf. While it might have been a quiet New Year's Eve for Beyonce and Jay-Z, it sounds like they had a lovely date just the two of them, because soon it will be three! (foodrepublic)

- Kim Kardashian spent her New Year's Eve in Las Vegas and while she was there she took the opportunity to show of her new hairdo. It isn't the first time Kim has rocked the bangs but we think she looks pretty good in it!
