Fall Couture 2011 Trend: Japanese-Inspired Style
Just as excitement over the resort 2012 collections is dying down, a few designers—the ones with the craziest talent and imaginations—are releasing their fall 2011 haute couture collections. The look isn’t just kimonos and chopsticks for your hair. Instead, designers like Giorgio Armani Privé, Giambattista Valli, and Maison Martin Margiela marched their girls down the runway in big, bold floral prints inspired by Japanese art and the geisha girls of years past.
