Carol B. Thomas once said, “Talents are meant to be shared.” Nowadays, more and more adolescents are forced by their parents to participate in talent shows in order to show off their aptitude. To my mind, parents should have their children enter TV talent shows.

Firstly, it is not always wrong for parents to encourage their children so as to express their talents. Lots of youngsters are timid and they need some motivation in order to be sure about their abilities. Moreover, a parent’s advice or his affectionate hug can get rid of anxiety since children know that he will always stand by them. 

However, there are few parents who take advantage of their kids’ talent and want them to become celebrities for the purpose of making money or to boast about their children's fame. In this case, youngsters can't stand the situation because they feel controlled by their own parents as they think that the only special thing about them is their talent.
